  Monday‑Thursday 9 pm‑6:30 am (No call, No weekend, Rotating Holidays)

Responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame and to provide care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/equipment, and other health care team members. Must be available in‑house within 30 minutes when on call.

• Current LA RN license.
• Current BLS and ALS certification through any ILCOR‑provided course (e.g., Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, American Red Cross) with a manikin check‑off.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire through any ILCOR‑provided course with a manikin check‑off.

Combination of acute medical/surgical nursing required, and critical care or post‑anesthesia nursing preferred.

Must possess good physical health and be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must work with a moderate level of noise.

• Frequently (34‑66%): lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling/feeling, talking
• Occasionally (1‑33%): climbing (stairs, ladders, etc.), stooping, crouching
