Multimodality Tech

Job Summary

Proficient in multiple imaging modalities. Able to move between facilities and perform imaging duties on various types of equipment. Has knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care, including contrast injections. Must possess strong customer service skills and a versatile knowledge of all imaging equipment. Properly uses radiation protection devices, selects technical factors necessary to produce optimum quality images;

processes those images and performs a variety of other duties.

• Multimodality Tech - Inpatient | Per Diem
• Multimodality Tech - Outpatient | Per Diem

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• ARRT registered in Radiology, state licensed in radiology by LSRT.
• Registered in at least two (2) post‑imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound).
• Seven (7) years’ experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification through an International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) course with manikin check‑off.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with patients of all types and ages. Must possess strong guest relations skills.

Must possess good physical health. Requirements include standing, sitting or walking for long periods, lifting at least 50 pounds, and working with moderate noise.

• Frequently (34%-66%): carrying, pushing/pulling, handling/feeling, talking
• Occasionally (1%-33%): climbing (stairs, ladders, poles, etc.), balancing, stooping, crouching, crawling
