We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen its reliability, performance, and on-call depth.
This is a broad, hands-on role spanning infrastructure engineering, data pipeline reliability, monitoring strategy, and operational excellence. This individual helps the organization scale a growing monitoring and analytics capability while keeping it fast, cost-efficient, and dependable.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- None
- Own the health and performance of a large-scale data and monitoring pipeline that ingests, stores, and serves high volumes of operational data.
- Continuously improve system performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability as data volume and usage grow.
- Evaluate, adopt, and integrate monitoring, alerting, and data-platform tools — both open-source and commercial — assessing build-vs-buy tradeoffs and leading pilots where useful.
- Design and maintain the rules-based, deterministic checks that operational teams rely on for critical alerting and data-quality assurance.
- Lead or contribute to incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and postmortems for production systems.

- Assess current workflows and data practices, identify gaps, and drive phased improvement plans in partnership with operations and other engineering teams.
- Partner with engineering leadership and other stakeholders to plan capacity, prioritize investments, and communicate tradeoffs in clear, non-technical terms when needed.
- Champion infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment practices across the platform.
- Mentor other engineers and help build institutional knowledge so the platform isn't dependent on any single individual.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention-to-detail
