Come be part of a growing company as an Automotive Store Manager. We own 5 Spee Dee Oil Change & Auto Service and Grease Monkey locations in Baton Rouge, Kenner, Metairie and Covington. Build and manage a team so you make 6 figures. Minimum 5 years automotive management experience required, including tire and automotive repair. Looking for someone who cares for their people, the customer and will treat this shop as if it was their own.

This specific location has 8 bays and requires a strong personality to manage. This is a hands‑on management position and not a sit‑in pointing in the air conditioning like a dealership. 75% of your time will be spent in the bays managing people and process. • Customer relations: increase sales and profitability, build a world‑class team.
• Welcome customers immediately in a professional manner and present Grease Monkey services and pricing.
• Provide manufacturer‑recommended preventative maintenance services and address vehicle safety issues such as tires, brakes, steering/suspension.
• Maintain communications with waiting customers, keep them informed of wait times, and answer questions.
• Ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe atmosphere for customers.
• Review Service Order Ticket, including Warranty and Free Top‑Off Programs, and thoroughly explain services performed and the purpose of reminder cards.
• Remind departing customers to submit feedback, thank them, and encourage returns.
• Resolve customer complaints and damage claims.
• Directly supervise all employees: hire, evaluate performance, resolve complaints, administer discipline, and discharge as required.
• Provide thorough training to new employees and conduct routine training sessions on products, services, skills, procedures, and policies.
• Schedule employees for effective center coverage and maintain accurate time‑clock use.
• Prepare payroll each pay period.
• Maintain accurate and complete employee files.

• Minimum five years automotive management experience, including tire and automotive repair.
• Strong personality to manage a physically demanding shop.
• Hands‑on management experience with 75% of time in bays.
• Ability to build and lead a high‑performing team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing service operations and employee supervision.
