Server – Christwood

Christwood is seeking a dedicated and professional Server to join our dining services team. This position offers flexible part-time or full-time hours - with no late nights required
.

Under the supervision of the Front-of-House (FOH) Leads, the Server is responsible for providing courteous and efficient meal service to residents and their guests in our dining room. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with kitchen service and cleanup as needed.

• Pre-setting tables in assigned area and following serving and cleaning procedures as outlined.
• Be familiar with the menu for the day with special regard to chef specials.
• Be courteous to residents and their guests.
• Obtain and maintain proper training and certification as required by the state for alcohol service.
• Remember resident names and be alert to the likes and dislikes of residents when serving food and making the Dining Leads promptly aware of any problems.
• Attend in-service training sessions with co-workers to keep abreast of current knowledge in the field.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Therapeutic Diets, Allergy Precautions, and Serv Safe Food Handlers Guidelines.
• Report damaged or broken items to the FOH Lead.
• Perform other specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
• Have flexible schedule/availability to cover shifts from 6 am to 7 pm as needed, including weekends, holidays, and natural disasters.

• High school graduate.
• Minimum of three years experience in the food industry (preferably with both front and back of house experience).
• Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, and be tolerant of residents, guests, peers, subordinates, other department staff and supervisors.
