To perform the general duties necessary for the efficient operation of the Company’s retail stores.

• Cashier duties: operate cash register, receive payment, record sales.
• Production/Backroom: sort and hang at least 125 garments an hour, check, sort and price electrical equipment, transfer merchandise, ensure clean workstation.
• Sales Floor: place garments on racks, remove empty hangers, assist security.
• Housekeeping: dispose trash, vacuum, mop, dust, clean bathrooms.
• Customer Service: greet donors, issue receipts, assist customers.
• General: follow company policies, attend scheduled shifts.

• Interact cordially with a variety of people.
• Market Goodwill and explain the mission.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Work flexible schedule on short notice, including days, nights, weekends.
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Use repetitive hand movement when buttoning, sorting, hanging, zipping garments.
• Engage in prolonged standing, walking, frequent bending, stooping, stretching.
• Vision corrected to within normal limits.
• Function in a hectic work environment.
• Knowledge of men, women, children clothing and household items.

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior work experience in service industry preferred but not required.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Considerable physical exertion, exposure to unfit donated goods and materials. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation station with no prior notice.
