The member assistant – cart attendant helps shape the member’s shopping experience by providing a positive first and last impression. You are responsible for ensuring a well-kept parking area, helping members with purchases, and ensuring carts are ready and available. You will also assist members in loading their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This role requires you to be on your feet and on the go in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club, answer questions, and assist with purchases
- Assist members with loading items and transporting them; maintain parking lot cleanliness
- Gather and organize carts/flatbeds and ensure availability
- Engage with members with a positive attitude, greeting and thanking them
- Resolve member issues and concerns and promote company products and services
- Ensure club pickup orders are filled by notifying members of delays and unavailability; offer alternatives when needed
- Ensure items are packaged according to company policies and are dispensed when members arrive
- Assist with payments and use cash registers according to policies and procedures
- Identify member needs and assist with purchasing decisions
- Locate and organize merchandise; zone designated areas and maintain stock of carts/flatbeds
- Follow safety procedures, handle merchandise properly, and report unsafe conditions
- Comply with company policies and ethics standards; support Open Door Policy
