Rooms To Go, a rapidly growing furniture retailer with over 9,500 employees and 250+ locations, is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help customers create their dream living space. This full‑time role offers competitive salary and benefits that exceed industry standards.
Base Pay Range$60,000.00 per year (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing- Oversee daily showroom operations, including sales, customer service, and maintenance.
- Hire, mentor and train a team of commissioned sales associates to improve customer experience and sales profitability.
- Ensure customers receive superior service and are satisfied with their purchases and deliveries.
- Develop and implement individual and team goals to maximize sales performance.
- Coach sales consultants to set realistic monthly goals and provide ongoing support.
- Maintain a clean, inviting and well‑presented showroom.
- Participate in the sales process to enhance customer experience and train associates.
- Promote positive morale among staff.
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and development skills to motivate teams.
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales management experience, preferably in the furniture industry with commissioned sales associates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Drive to succeed in a sales‑driven environment.
