Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support packaging equipment engineering, packaging line optimization, equipment modifications, and 3D plant model coordination. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with packaging systems, AutoCAD layouts, equipment vendor coordination, and integration of new equipment into existing manufacturing lines.

Experience in food and beverage, ice cream/dairy, packaging manufacturing, or other hygienic manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the suitability, performance, and efficiency of packaging equipment, from filling systems through secondary packaging.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors on technical requirements, modifications, and implementation.
• Develop and finalize technical specifications for equipment modifications and packaging/product changeovers.
• Provide engineering support for packaging process improvements and production line optimization.
• Develop, review, and modify packaging line layouts using AutoCAD.
• Lead the coordination and integration of 3D models within the overall plant design environment.
• Assess equipment placement, layout changes, utility requirements, and integration impacts.
• Support the installation and integration of new packaging equipment into existing production lines.
• Coordinate offshore 3D modeling support when required by project workload.
