Are you an experienced vehicle technician looking to join a reputable, family-run independent garage in Cowbridge?
Our client, a well-established service centre operating since the 1950s, are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to strengthen their skilled team.

- Working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with scheduled breaks (two 1-hour and three 30-minute lunch breaks)
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles
- Complete relevant paperwork accurately in accordance with company standards
- Identify faults and report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance issues to the Workshop Manager
- Adhere to quality workmanship standards and health & safety protocols at all times
- Assist with vehicle safety inspections, brake checks, and other standard automotive tasks
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
- Support the team with ad-hoc duties as required, fostering a collaborative and professional workshop culture
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician; time-served technicians are encouraged to apply
- Relevant automotive qualifications (e.g., IMI/NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) are advantageous but not essential if experience is strong
- Competent diagnostics and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team within an independent service environment
- Organised, methodical, and committed to high standards of work
- Ideally, possess an active MOT licence, though this is non-essential
- Resident within a reasonable commuting distance to Cowbridge
