Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £172.98 per day
As a Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development across a variety of age groups. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage pupils to reach their full potential while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Working closely with teaching assistants, school leaders and the wider school community, you will adapt your teaching practice to meet the diverse needs of learners, helping every pupil to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future planning.
- Provide targeted support and interventions where necessary.
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for learning.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents and colleagues to support pupil achievement.
- Encourage confidence, resilience and independence in learners.
- Contribute positively to wider school life and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within primary or secondary education.
- Is confident delivering engaging lessons to pupils of varying ages and abilities.
- Can adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Has a commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing.
- Works effectively as part of a team and communicates confidently with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Is available to commit to a full‑time, long‑term position.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to apply.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
