Role summaryWe are looking for an experienced IT Services Transition & Transformation Lead to run complex service transitions and transformation programmes within a highly secure environment. The role will own end-to-end transition planning and execution, ensuring continuity of service, security compliance, and operational readiness as services, platforms, and operating models move from legacy or incumbent arrangements into new delivery models.
This role suits a hands-on delivery leader rather than a pure strategist—someone structured, calm under pressure, and used to running mission-critical programmes where failure is not an option.
This is a senior delivery role requiring strong programme discipline, credibility with senior stakeholders, and the ability to operate in high-consequence environments.
Key experience- Strong background in programme and project management on complex IT programmes.
- Proven experience leading IT service transitions and/or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Experience operating in secure, regulated, or government environments.
- Confident stakeholder management at senior and operational levels.
- Comfortable working on-site in a secure facility.
- Defence, national security, intelligence, or central government IT experience.
- Experience in multi-supplier or incumbent service transition scenarios.
- Military background or prior work with military organisations is a strong advantage.
