Job Details

We are looking for a highly-skilled teacher passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to making a difference for all of our children and young people so that they achieve their full potential. As a teacher you will be responsible for leading learning within your classroom context, promoting inclusion, diversity and equality, communicating with other stakeholders, and contributing to wider improvements across the school community.

• High levels of interpersonal skills and abilities enabling teamwork for positive outcomes.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning influencing practice.
• Obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
• Full General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration.
• Primary: fully registered with GTCS in Primary;
  Secondary: fully registered with GTCS in Secondary for the specific subject.
• Model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland in line with relevant Professional Standards.
• Full registration required for all permanent posts; provisional GTCS registration considered for temporary class teacher posts.
• Individuals with GTCS registration in Further Education must also hold Primary or Secondary registration to meet essential criteria.
