Job Details
We are looking for a highly-skilled teacher passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to making a difference for all of our children and young people so that they achieve their full potential. As a teacher you will be responsible for leading learning within your classroom context, promoting inclusion, diversity and equality, communicating with other stakeholders, and contributing to wider improvements across the school community.
Qualification,Registration and Skill Requirements
- High levels of interpersonal skills and abilities enabling teamwork for positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning influencing practice.
- Obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
- Full General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration.
- Primary: fully registered with GTCS in Primary;
Secondary: fully registered with GTCS in Secondary for the specific subject. - Model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland in line with relevant Professional Standards.
- Full registration required for all permanent posts; provisional GTCS registration considered for temporary class teacher posts.
- Individuals with GTCS registration in Further Education must also hold Primary or Secondary registration to meet essential criteria.
