Part-Time Credit Controller

Part-Time Credit Controller – CIS & Payroll We are delighted to be working with a well-established roofing business in Stockton-on-Tees who are looking to recruit a Part-Time Credit Controller to join their finance team. The main focus of the role will be credit control, alongside payroll support and cover when required. This is a varied position suited to an experienced finance professional with knowledge of credit control, CIS and payroll , who is confident working independently across different areas of finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Control Manage the credit control process and ensure outstanding balances are followed up promptly Monitor aged debt and proactively chase overdue accounts Contact customers by telephone and email regarding outstanding payments Allocate and reconcile payments accurately Investigate and resolve account queries and discrepancies Maintain accurate customer account records Carry out credit checks and support credit risk management Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve payment issues Produce regular aged debt and credit control reports Payroll & CIS Provide payroll support and cover when required Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll Process CIS calculations and submissions Support payroll administration and maintain accurate records Assist with payroll year-end processes when required Ensure payroll and CIS information is processed accurately and within deadlines About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in Credit Control Experience working with CIS, ideally within the construction industry Previous payroll experience and the ability to provide cover when required Good understanding of credit control processes and aged debt

Experience with payroll submissions, including RTI and EPS A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to support across the wider finance function Experience using accounting or payroll software would be advantageous The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a part-time, flexible finance role with an established business in Stockton-on-Tees.
