American Traveler is hiring a CT/MRI Technologist for a day-shift position requiring ARRT certification in Radiology, CT, and MRI.

• Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and MRI procedures
• Day shift schedule
• May assist with other modalities, scheduling adjustments, call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed
• Uses EHR, PACS, and RIS/HIS systems

• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year experience required
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R), including CT and MRI
• Current BLS certification required (or obtainable within 90 days of hire)
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• 2 years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, and MRI technologist preferred
• Cross-training in other modalities such as DEXA and Mammography preferred
• Experience with electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS preferred

• Performs MRI and CT procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Demonstrates knowledge in radiographic procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR work
• Practices radiation safety adhering to ALARA standards
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and coordinates with service engineers as needed
• Maintains accurate patient records including charging for procedures and supplies
• May assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation as needed
• May assist, train, or cross-train other imaging staff members
• Responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining supply inventory
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
