• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or Compact State (required)
• At least 1 year of recent acute care or Med/Surg RN experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• PALS or ENPC certification (required)
• TNCC certification (preferred)
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize clinical outcomes in an acute care setting
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions using electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support
• Educate patients and families, addressing communication barriers and tailoring information to age, culture, and condition
• Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary staff; precept student nurses and new RN hires as needed
• Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Demonstrate compassionate care and build therapeutic nurse-patient relationships
• Apply evidence-based nursing interventions and leverage healthcare technology
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards
• Participate in hospital and department performance improvement initiatives
