Description:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Treaty Broking team at Guy Carpenter China. This role will be based in Beijing Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:- Support in maintaining and developing client relationships for existing and new clients
- Support the best broking practice, which includes client proposal, presentation, market submission & execution
- Build and maintain good relations with reinsurers
- Regular communication with clients at counterpart level to collect feedback, identify needs and gather market intelligence
- Conduct market research and information collection
- Compile presentations and advisory documents under the direction of a supervisor
- Play an active role in GC client and market events to promote GC brand and enhance relationships with clients and markets as required
- Any projects under the direction of management
- University graduate with a background in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Math, etc.
- Experience in the insurance / reinsurance industry
- Experience in property and casualty insurance
- Strong ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels; must be a good team player
- Well-versed in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Pleasant personality, excellent interpersonal skills, must be a good communicator
