Compliance Engineer (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment)

Your role

As a Compliance Engineer, your mission is to ensure the business remains compliant, audit-ready, and operationally effective through a risk-based, system-led approach to SHEQ management. You will report to the Hiring Manager.

You will Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) across quality, environment, and health & safety standards

Deliver internal audits, support external audits, and ensure timely closure of audit findings

Drive risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement through investigations, data insights, and system optimisation

You have experience working as a Compliance, Quality, or SHEQ professional within a manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of IATF
16949 or ISO
9001, plus ISO
14001 and/or ISO
45001

Proven experience with audit processes and compliance management

Understanding of risk-based thinking and structured problem solving (RCA)
Ability to simplify processes, improve systems, and engage stakeholders effectively
