The Opportunity
The Group Manager – Digital Transformation is responsible for leading a global team of Business Analysts and Business Support Analysts who support the discovery, requirements gathering, delivery, support of digital products and solutions across Clinical Services.
The post holder will provide leadership across business analysis, product delivery, business readiness, system support. The role is accountable for ensuring business needs are effectively translated into high-quality digital solutions that deliver measurable business value, improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support the Digital Transformation strategy.
The Group Manager will ensure day to day line management functions and activities are adequately supported, resource plans are aligned to roadmap priorities, effective management of employee performance and development, support the delivery of strategic initiatives along with the identification and delivery of department efficiency improvements.

What you need to be successful
To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to work in the UK or hold a valid work permit. You should also hold a BA (Hons) degree or equivalent, or have 5+ years’ Almac experience in product or solution delivery, support and/or project management.
We are looking for someone with proven leadership experience, gained through direct line management, mentoring, coaching or coordinating cross‑functional teams, as well as experience managing stakeholders and people‑related administrative activities.
You should also have experience leading teams involved in software delivery, digital transformation initiatives, business and data analysis or product support, managing multiple strategic, departmental, project and operational priorities, and working directly with senior management, senior business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
Skills and attributes
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and on own initiative
