South of England (Multi-Site Role)
Salary:
Up to 65,000 + Car Package (DOE)
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable SHEQ Business Partner to join a growing construction team within a large and diverse company, working across a portfolio of refurbishment and fit-out projects throughout the South of England.
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Compliance Manager, you'll be an integral part of a collaborative and experienced SHEQ department, supporting safe delivery across multiple live sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to bring fresh energy, strong technical competence, and a solutions-focused mindset to a well-established team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert SHEQ guidance across multiple refurbishment and fit-out sites.
- Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure best practice and regulatory adherence.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of RAMS, safe systems of work, and SHEQ documentation.
- Partner with Project Managers and Site Teams to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
- Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and training materials to enhance on-site safety culture.
- Assist the Compliance Manager with SHEQ initiatives, reporting, and departmental projects.
- Promote a proactive, positive culture of safety and quality across all operational teams.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent SHEQ qualification.
- Experience in the construction sector, ideally within refurbishment, fit-out, interiors, or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation, compliance standards, and ISO frameworks.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the South of England.
- Excellent communication, engagement, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing your own workload independently.
- Up to 65,000 salary, depending on experience.
