Social Media Marketer (Freelance)
Liberty Music PR is an independent music PR & digital marketing agency. We partner with artists and labels to amplify their reach through playlist pitching, Spotify ad campaigns, brand collaborations, You Tube optimisations, influencer partnerships, radio, and more.
As we continue to grow, we're seeking a creative, data‑driven Social Media Marketer to lead and elevate our clients' social presence across platforms, aligning with Liberty's ethos of authenticity and impact.
What You'll Do- Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple clients (artists, labels, campaigns).
- Create and curate compelling content (posts, stories, reels, carousels, short video clips).
- Manage editorial calendars, scheduling, and publishing across Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter/X, Facebook, You Tube (shorts), etc.
- Monitor social media performance and analytics; report on KPIs (reach, engagement, growth) and make recommendations for optimisation.
- Collaborate with PR, playlist, video teams to integrate content into wider campaigns.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, grow community and brand affinity.
- Stay on top of trends, memes, platform algorithms, and emerging features.
- Assist in influencer outreach and partnerships (identifying potential collaborators, negotiating content deals).
- Occasionally support ad‑level social media boosts or testing new formats.
- You live and breathe social media, keeping up with trends, platform changes, and viral content.
- You have 2-4 years of experience managing social accounts (agency or in‑house, ideally in music/entertainment).
- You’re data literate: comfortable reading analytics dashboards and using insights to iterate.
- You have strong content creation skills—writing captions, sourcing visuals/UGC, and basic design or editing skills (Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent).
- You’re a good communicator and collaborator, able to work across teams (PR, video, campaigns).
- You’re highly organized, able to juggle multiple clients and deadlines.
- You are passionate about music and the industry (a plus).
