Position: RE / Religious Studies Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

Are you a passionate RE / Religious Studies Teacher with a deep interest in worldviews, beliefs, and values? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hull is looking to appoint a thoughtful and engaging Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities team in September 2025.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

* Delivering RE lessons that encourage critical thinking, reflection, and open discussion

* Exploring a range of religious and non-religious worldviews in line with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum

* Fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom environment

* Creating engaging resources that challenge stereotypes and promote ethical inquiry

* Working with colleagues to promote cross-curricular values and spiritual development

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

* Holds QTS/QTLS or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Studies (or related field)

* Has experience teaching RE across Key Stage 3 and 4

* Is committed to encouraging respectful dialogue and understanding among students

* Possesses excellent communication skills and a calm, reflective teaching style

* Is able to manage classroom dynamics effectively while promoting a safe space for discussion
