Energy Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Energy & Carbon Manager to take a senior, client-facing role within a growing sustainability function. This position offers the chance to lead carbon consultancy delivery, support organisations on their Net Zero journeys, and provide technical oversight across a varied UK client portfolio.

You will play a key role in shaping decarbonisation strategies, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, and driving high standards across energy and carbon reporting programmes.

• Lead delivery of energy and carbon consultancy projects across multiple sectors
• Oversee carbon foot printing (Scope 1, 2 &
  3) and GHG reporting aligned to recognised frameworks (e.g. ISO 14064, SBTi)
• Develop Net Zero roadmaps and decarbonisation strategies
• Provide technical interpretation of UK energy and carbon compliance requirements
• Conduct and oversee energy audits and compliance schemes (including ESOS where applicable)
• Support service development, client growth initiatives and bid activity
• Mentor and guide junior consultants to ensure quality and consistency of delivery

• Background in energy consultancy, sustainability or carbon management
• Strong knowledge of UK energy and carbon compliance frameworks
• Proven experience delivering GHG reporting and Net Zero strategies
• Experience conducting energy audits
• Commercially aware with strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills
• ESOS Lead Assessor status
• Familiarity with SBTi or wider ESG reporting frameworks

Up to £65,000 for candidates holding ESOS Lead Assessor status
