A Snapshot of Your Day As a self-starter, you begin each day motivated to utilize your expertise for the benefit of Siemens Energy and its future orientated strategies. You are engaged in strategic evaluations, as well as the execution of Strategic Technical Partnering projects. In both scenarios, you support team members in understanding how transactions impact Grid Technologies product and solutions portfolio.

Additionally, you play a crucial role in identifying suitable target companies and technological trends for various types of transaction and partnerships. You consistently strive to realize synergies and are a trusted partner within Siemens Energy’s expert community. You possess an energizing and collaborative spirit, enjoying the sharing and growth of your expertise. You have a distinct passion for discovering technical solutions and business opportunities that will advance Siemens Energy's position in leading the global energy transformation.

• You support, consult and advise the Business Strategy team as well as Grid Technologies Execution Area management on technical aspects covering the various execution units with a focus on M&A and/or strategic partnering.
• You support technical risk assessments for Grid Technologies M&A/partnering projects.
• You play a key role in detecting potential gaps in the Grid Technologies product portfolio and adapt the strategy for Grid Technologies Execution Areas.
• You are widely recognized as expert source and consult senior management in strategic technical topics within Grid Technology portfolios and strategic projects.
• You support the organization with the progression of core, growth, and transformation goals.
• You are influencing and developing technological roadmaps, key strategic projects for growth and future orientated portfolio.
• You provide the technical foundation in developing business cases across core products for Grid Technologies.
• You are playing a significant and impactful role in scouting and developing new opportunities for Grid Technologies.
• You participate in external conferences / Publish in alignment with management for Fields of Action (FoA) & Technology Fields (TF) Leads.
• You lead international communities with Energy Trends and/or Grid Technology Initiatives.

• You are a thought leader with a regional/national/global reputation in Grid Technologies.
• Ability to inspire communities and landscapes.
• Ability to collaborate across Core Products, Technology fields (TF), and Fields of Action (FoA) to develop strategic and innovative business.
• Extensive technological and business knowledge in the field of Grid Technologies, acknowledged by colleagues, management and other external experts in the field.
• You are a technology expert, who has built up an interdisciplinary understanding, ability to identify and create connections between topics.
• You have willingness and excellent skills to collaborate across disciplines to develop innovative solutions.
• You are the go-to person as technical advisor.
