Description Join Trant Engineering and help shape the delivery of complex, high-impact projects. Resource Operations Manager ?to join our delivery team on a major petrochemical refinery project. This is a key operational role responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising construction resources across multiple projects, ensuring the right people, plant, equipment, and materials are available to deliver work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, you will play a vital role in maximising productivity, maintaining workforce utilisation, and supporting successful project delivery in a live, high-hazard operating environment. What Youll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, mobilisation, and allocation?of construction resources?across multiple projects?and disciplines. Develop and maintain?workforce plans to?meet current and?future project demands. Coordinate the onboarding, induction, and deployment?of direct employees?and subcontractor personnel. Work collaboratively with?project delivery teams?to forecast labour?requirements and respond?to changing priorities. Monitor resource utilisation, productivity, and performance, identifying opportunities?to improve efficiency. Ensure all personnel?hold the appropriate?competencies, certifications, and site authorisations.

Support recruitment activities?and maintain strong?relationships with labour?providers and subcontract?partners. Produce regular resource?reports, forecasts, and?workforce metrics for?senior management. Promote a positive?safety culture and?ensure all resource?activities comply with?company procedures, client?requirements, and statutory?regulations. Regular client engagement to maintain understanding of requirements to drive productivity in a fast-paced complex environment. What Were Looking For About You You are?organised and proactive with experience?managing construction resources?within complex industrial?environments. You thrive?in a dynamic?project setting, can?manage competing priorities, and build strong?relationships across multidisciplinary?teams. You will ideally have:
Significant experience in construction resource?planning or operations?management.

Experience with in the?petrochemical, oil & gas, refinery, energy, or?other major industrial?construction sectors. Strong understanding of?workforce planning, mobilisation, and subcontractor management. Knowledge of construction?delivery processes and?project life cycles. Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder?management skills. Experience using Microsoft?

Office and resource?planning or project?management systems. A sound understanding?of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality?(SHEQ) requirements within?high-hazard industries. Relevant management or?construction qualifications?(HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent) are?desirable. SMSTS or equivalent?site management qualification?is?advantageous. Why Join Trant?
