We are hiring for our client for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team in Dungannon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking for a well-paid maintenance position offering a £60,000 basic salary, overtime opportunities and additional benefits

Working on a continental shift pattern
, the successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and ensuring plant and equipment continues to operate safely and efficiently.
As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
, you will:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs
- Maintain plant, machinery and associated production equipment
- Respond effectively to breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime
- Identify recurring faults and support improvements to equipment reliability
- Carry out mechanical repairs, replacements and component changes
- Support preventative maintenance schedules and engineering improvement projects
- Work closely with engineering and operational colleagues
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed
To be considered for this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline
- Previous experience working within a mechanical maintenance environment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering
- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team
- Flexibility to work a continental shift pattern
- £60,000 basic salary
