Monday Thursday 8:00am4:30pm, Friday 8:00am2:00pm About Global Business Services (GBS) Global Business Services (GBS) delivers high-quality accounting and transactional services across Terexs global operations. The Opportunity As a Financial Accountant, youll be a key member of the GBS Accounting team, gaining broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, and business partnering.

Transition from practice into industry Build strong technical and commercial accounting skills Work within a global, collaborative environment Be part of a team focused on continuous improvement and innovation What Youll Be Doing Preparing and posting journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis Supporting the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Managing general ledger accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations Performing intercompany accounting and reconciliations (AR, AP, loans) Supporting cash and FX forecasting processes Assisting in the preparation of UK statutory accounts Ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, and corporate procedures Driving process improvements and efficiencies Responding to internal and external stakeholder queries with a strong customer focus

What Were Looking For Qualifications & Experience Newly qualified or 1 year PQE as a ACCA / ACA / CIMA / ICAEW accountant Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or audit Exposure to financial systems (Oracle experience beneficial but not essential) Knowledge of UK GAAP Skills & Attributes Strong technical accounting knowledge with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines Analytical, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset Strong integrity and commitment to high standards A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
