Rushmere We're looking for an Assistant Accountant to support financial reporting, planning and control across our central functions. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance career to gain exposure to FP&A, reporting, and business partnering in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Support month-end reporting, journals and reconciliations Analyse data and investigate variances and anomalies Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Prepare weekly reporting and finance insights Support balance sheet reconciliations and audit requirements Monitor and report on GRNI and cost positions Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc projects What You'll Bring Strong Excel and analytical skills High attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and stakeholder skills Proactive, organised and able to meet deadlines Interest in studying towards a professional accounting qualification Experience in finance or administration (desirable) The company Pilgrim's Europe produces some of the best-known and most iconic brands in the UK and Ireland, including Fridge Raiders, Rollover, Denny, Richmond, Oakhouse and Moy Park, alongside a diverse range of industry leading own-label products in categories including fresh pork, lamb and chicken, working with all the major retailers and food service outlets.
