Permanent, Full-Time We are recruiting for an experienced
Credit Controller to join a well-established and successful organisation based in Portadown. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team where you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring credit and debt risk is effectively controlled.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of existing and new customer accounts. Control, reduce and maintain debt risk across your customer portfolio. Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and agreed payment arrangements. Accurately update systems with customer calls, payment promises, queries and account information. Maintain clear and accurate customer account histories. Build strong relationships with customers while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Identify, investigate and drive the resolution of account queries and credit disputes. Work closely with internal departments and key stakeholders to minimise credit and debt risk. Monitor accounts and highlight potential issues at an early stage. Attend internal and external meetings where required. Carry out additional credit control and finance administration duties as required.
Essential Criteria The successful candidate should have:
Previous experience working within aCredit Control position. Strong experience managing customer accounts and outstanding debt. Confident telephone and customer communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels. Excellent written communication skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A flexible and adaptable approach to workload and priorities. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
