About the company:
HireIQ is partnering with a long-standing client, an established business, to appoint a Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a broad role offering the opportunity to build on your existing experience while gaining greater commercial exposure across the business. Its an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career, with scope to develop professionally, take on increased responsibility and progress over time.
About the job:
Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. Analyse financial performance against budget, identifying and explaining key variances. Produce regular management reports and KPI analysis to support business decision making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Oversee relevant financial compliance and statutory reporting requirements. Provide support across the wider finance function when required.
Contribute to the development of financial systems, reporting processes and management information.
About you:
Recently Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or strong QBE Industry experience advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong IT skills
