- Permanent MCS Group is exclusively partnering with a well-established organisation as they recruit a Senior HR Officer on a permanent basis.

The role:

You will provide generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a varied, hands-on role covering employee relations, absence management, recruitment, payroll queries, HR systems and reporting. The main responsibilities:
Provide first-line HR guidance to managers and employees. Support absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance processes. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and offboarding. Respond to general HR and payroll queries. Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data. Prepare HR reports and key workforce metrics. Support improvements to HR systems and processes. Contribute to employee engagement, learning and wider HR projects. Build effective relationships across the organisation.

The successful candidate:
Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor or Generalist HR role. Practical experience managing employee relations matters within Northern Ireland, including absence, disciplinary and grievance processes. Strong working knowledge of Northern Ireland employment legislation and HR best practice. Experience across recruitment and the wider employee lifecycle. Confidence using HR information systems. Strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skills. What's on offer:
