Core Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to gain understanding of requirements and goals and identify areas of improvement
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory)
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Apply system updates, patches, and security controls
  • Manage virtualization environments and support cloud or hybrid infrastructure as needed
  • Maintain backups and support disaster recovery processes
  • Document system configurations and procedures
  • Monitor system logs, security alerts, and vulnerabilities; support incident response activities
  • Ensure systems comply with organizational and regulatory security requirements
  • Analyze system performance trends and recommend improvements to reliability, scalability, and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual tasks
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and asset inventories
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of system administration experience
  • Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified:
    Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate preferred
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
