Clinical Negligence Solicitor – National – Up to £70,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
A leading Legal 500 firm renowned for its excellence in healthcare law is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its Clinical Negligence team.
This is a superb opportunity to join an award-winning national practice recognised for its specialist expertise across the healthcare and insurance sectors. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of defendant clinical negligence and health litigation matters on behalf of major healthcare organisations, NHS Resolution and medical defence bodies.
You’ll work within a highly regarded, collaborative team alongside experienced Partners and Associates, managing complex and high-value cases while benefiting from genuine flexibility, a strong work-life balance and clear routes for progression.
With a consistent flow of high-quality instructions, this role is ideal for an ambitious lawyer looking to deepen their technical expertise and build long-term client relationships within one of the UK’s most respected healthcare practices.
The Role- Managing your own caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims
- Acting on behalf of NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations and leading healthcare insurers
- Advising healthcare professionals and providers on complex, high-value matters
- Preparing pleadings, witness statements and case reports in line with client SLAs
- Supporting senior team members on strategic and technically challenging cases
- Contributing to client training and internal team development initiatives
- Qualified Solicitor with 1+ PQE (defendant clinical negligence experience essential)
- Strong technical background in healthcare or medical malpractice work
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Client-focused with the ability to manage complex caseloads efficiently
- A team player with a proactive, solutions-led approach
