The RoleAlmac Clinical Services is a global leader in clinical supply chain solutions, supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies throughout the drug development lifecycle. Our teams play a critical role in ensuring clinical trial supplies are delivered safely, efficiently and compliantly to patients worldwide.
We are currently seeking a Distribution Depot Coordinator to join our team in Craigavon. This is a highly collaborative and dynamic role where you will act as a key link between Almac and our global depot network.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as the primary liaison between Almac, contracted depots, and customers to ensure clear and effective communication
- Interpreting customer requirements and supporting the planning and setup of depot activities for new clinical protocols
- Proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges and depot performance issues
- Coordinating initial shipments, ensuring all quality procedures and compliance standards are met
- Generating and reviewing monthly depot activity and revenue reports
- Overseeing import licence tracking and supporting customers with regulatory requirements
- Maintaining accurate depot data within internal systems and databases
- Reviewing and approving Depot Project Instructions
- Supporting customer queries relating to delivery information and product status
- Participating in depot visits, audits, and operational reviews (international travel required)
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure depot operations align with business and customer needs
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will also be confident working collaboratively across teams and communicating effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Essential Criteria- Third level qualification OR significant experience within a logistics or supply chain environment
- Previous experience in a customer-focused role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process complex technical information
- Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience managing customer or supplier relationships
- Experience with in the pharmaceutical or clinical supply industry
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and supply chain processes
