Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for an assistant project coordinator. Based in our Portadown Site you will become a key member of the McMullen Facades Team. There is a clear career path with opportunities for progression to Project Coordinator based on performance, business needs, and demonstrated capability. Training and mentorship will be provided to support advancement in this role.

The successful candidate will:
Coordinate faade project information across multiple departments and site teams, driving actions from design release through procurement to material delivery. Support project planning and progress tracking by monitoring milestones, upcoming phases, material requirements, and production priorities to align factory and site programs. Attend daily project and supplier meetings; review procurement, material delivery, and site priorities, and follow key actions through to resolution.

Work closely with Procurement, QS teams, and suppliers to review material status, released phases/levels, and project changes while progressing outstanding and urgent requirements to minimise delays. Coordinate with Planning, Manufacturing, and Site Managers on material and production readiness, faade/material call-offs, and delivery priorities; proactively identify risks that could impact the programme. Manage material tracking and stock reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and collaborate with QC to resolve material and finished-product quality issues, supporting efficient project close-out.

Prepare and maintain project reports, trackers, and documentation, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and outstanding actions. The ideal candidate will also have:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Proactive in identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on track Adaptable to changing situations and environments Thrives in a fast-paced setting Confident in decision-making and takes ownership of driving actions to completion Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), COINS, Asset Tagz, Viewpoint, and Field View is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 8-5pm, Friday 8-2pm.
