Cleaner Keyholder Responsibilities - Part-time

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. The role includes general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, emptying bins and keeping toilets clean and well‑stocked. You will also help keep the school grounds tidy and may be required to cover some basic caretaker tasks, including unlocking and locking the site, when needed.

As a keyholder, you will ensure the building is secure at the end of the day. During school holidays, you will take part in a full deep clean of the site, including window cleaning, moving furniture and refreshing all areas. You will report any defects to senior staff, follow all Health & Safety and Fire Regulations and work as part of a supportive school team.

Training will be provided where required.

• Hours: 10 per week, Monday–Friday
• Term time only: 38 weeks per year
• Safeguarding: Appointment subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
