Health And Safety Manager

As Health & Safety Manager, you will lead the site’s safety strategy, driving a culture of continuous improvement and compliance across all heavy industrial operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring best‑practice standards are implemented, risk assessments are robust, and all staff and contractors work safely and compliantly.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the site’s H&S management systems (ISO 45001).
• Carry out regular risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Lead H&S training and continuous awareness campaigns across teams.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Report on safety KPIs and compliance metrics to senior leadership.
• Foster a proactive safety culture that prioritises prevention, education, and accountability.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
• Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing at all levels of the business.
• Experience with behavioural safety and cultural change initiatives highly desirable.
