General Manager

General Manager Craigavon Permanent Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Craigavon for a General Manager, to lead the day-to-day operations of their busy manufacturing facility. This role is ideally suited to either an experienced General Manager or a strong Production Manager / Operations Manager ready to take the next step into a broader leadership role.

Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of the production facility. Oversee compounding, pulverising, recycling, and related manufacturing processes. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Monitor plant performance, production output, downtime, waste, and operational efficiencies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and plant operations. Ensure effective utilisation of machinery, materials, labour, and plant resources. Support preventative maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.

Essential Previous experience in a Production Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, or similar leadership role. Strong understanding of manufacturing, pulverising, recycling, and production operations. Experience managing teams within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices within manufacturing. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational efficiency and profitability.
