Fabricator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

McMullen Facades Ltd are currently recruiting for Fabrication Operatives for our Portadown site. Excellent salary on offer starting at £14.00ph depending on skills and experience. Benefits include:

Your role You will be part of an exceptional team that is responsible for;
The fabrication of our bespoke windows, unitised and stick curtain walling, roof lights and doors. Structural bonding of panels and flashings Ability to read and understand assembly drawings Using work instructions/packages interpret and fabricate aluminium /glass panels to the required standard Be competent in the use of hand and power tools (saws, grinders, crimpers, drills, and measuring equipment) used to assemble panels, windows and doors.

Check and inspect all work ensuring Quality documentation is completed at each stage of production. Strive to meet daily targets on a production line in a busy and fast-paced production environment. Operate as part of the pre-production facility team if and when required completing duties such as line side kitting , material preparation and assisting with material handling duties. Experience

Experience with in the window/ cladding industry will be an advantage Experience in using power tools/drill Experience working within a fast paced factory environment Key Skills Good verbal and communication skills Ability to work on own initiative while contributing effectively to the team environment Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work in a busy production environment Excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as and when required A positive attitude, reliable, punctual and keen.
