The successful candidate be responsible for ensuring parts, materials and components required for production are available. The Role Source for various parts, components and materials for production Negotiate prices and lead times for products and secure favourable terms for the business Liaise with suppliers and schedule deliveries according to production schedule Ensure all specification requirements are met for purchased products Develop, improve and build strong supplier relationships Monitor supplier performance and address any reoccurring issues Track progress and manage goods sent out for rework Managing call off orders for long lead time items Other relevant duties
