General Operative Powder Coating & Production

Were looking for a reliable, hardworking General Operative to join our busy powder coating team.

This is a hands-on role working across the workshop and supporting the team throughout the powder coating and finishing process. Youll be involved in preparing, handling and moving components, making sure everything is ready for the next stage and helping to keep production running smoothly.

Were looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and isnt afraid to get stuck in. Experience in manufacturing, powder coating or a similar environment would be a bonus, but full training will be given to the right person.

What youll be doing

• Preparing components for powder coating, including dipping, sanding, cleaning and masking
• Hanging and organising parts on the production line
• Loading, unloading and moving components around the workshop
• Helping with general workshop and production duties
• Checking parts to make sure they are clean and meet our quality standards
• Keeping the workshop and work areas clean and tidy
• Working as part of the team to keep production moving and meet deadlines
• Following health and safety procedures
• Helping with different jobs around the workshop when needed

What were looking for

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or powder coating environment is preferred but not essential
• A good eye for detail and pride in doing a job properly
• Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
• Physically fit and happy with a role involving standing, lifting and moving components
• Someone who is willing to learn and get involved in different areas of the workshop
• A positive attitude and good work ethic

Hours & Contract

• 45 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am 4:30pm
• Full-time position
• Full training provided
