Mechanical Maintenance Engineer job on days Monday to Friday in manufacturing. This is a multi-site company that supplies the UK and Ireland with specialist products. Having recently toured the facility, we can confirm investment in quality manufacturing machines and processes remains a priority. The best thing about the role is working with experienced engineers helps you learn more, and the equipment is reasonably modern.
Your new role
Supporting production with preventative and reactive maintenance from a multi-skilled but mechanically biased skill set. Replacing worn motors, bearings, pumps and more on production lines. Changing out parts to prevent breakdown and planning future work.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong mechanical maintenance ability in or related to production style maintenance or easily transferable and open to support with some overtime.
What you'll get in return
Working Monday to Friday with an early Friday finish and overtime available at the weekend on occasion. Hourly rate circa £20 per hour plus overtime
