Salary discussed on application The post holder will be responsible for supporting Manufacturing Engineering activities in one or a combination of the following areas of responsibilities:
Product design Process design Equipment/Tool design Production system design Automated systems and control Quality & continuous Improvement Responsibilities Programming 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling Machines Cutting tool selection and work holding tool design Validating programming quality through part FAI Creation of machine set up sheets & operator work instructions Improving and working to lean manufacturing process Ensuring the safety of both employees and machinery Training / mentoring less experienced programmers within the department Liaising with tooling and software manufacturers to drive Continuous Improvement Investigating and applying techniques to reduce cycle times and exploring new technology to improve workshop throughput Reward Competitive salary Annual bonus (linked to company performance) Flexi time working £5,000 employee referral bonus Health cash plan Contributory Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme Holiday Purchase Scheme
