Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

NOVO is working with an established Northern Ireland business to appoint a Safety, Health & Environmental Manager for its Manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can strengthen SHE systems, support operational teams and continue building a positive, proactive safety culture across the business. Youll take ownership of Safety, Health & Environmental performance across the operation, acting as the key point of contact for HSE matters.

Key responsibilities will include:
Leading and improving the HSE Management System Promoting a positive safety and environmental culture Supporting managers with risk assessments and operational controls Leading incident and near-miss investigations Conducting audits, inspections and compliance reviews Monitoring SHE performance and improvement actions Delivering training, coaching and employee engagement initiatives Supporting environmental compliance, waste reduction and sustainability activity Driving continuous improvement across SHE performance What were looking for Youll have solid Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing, engineering or similar operational environment and be comfortable working with people at all levels.

Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Strong knowledge of HSE legislation Experience managing or maintaining HSE management systems Strong risk assessment and incident investigation experience Excellent communication and influencing skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Desirable:
Diploma-level Health & Safety qualification IOSH, IEMA or equivalent membership ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 experience Internal or Lead Auditor qualification Environmental or sustainability experience Why consider it?
