Production Planner FMCG Portadown Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for your next move within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment? Vickerstock is currently working with a well-established Northern Ireland manufacturing business that is looking to add an experienced Production Planner to their team. This is a key role within the planning function, responsible for ensuring production schedules are effectively managed, optimised and aligned with customer demand, while keeping downtime and unnecessary changeovers to a minimum.
What's on offer Salary £35-38,000 Monday to Friday 8am-5pm A genuinely inclusive and supportive working environment Progression and development opportunities The opportunity to build your career within a growing manufacturing business Discounted company products Your day to day Importing and managing production forecasts Creating and maintaining production plans using ERP/MRP planning systems Monitoring stock levels, availability and BBE requirements Analysing forecast versus actual sales and reporting on findings Working closely with Production, Operations and other key departments Optimising production schedules with allergen management and changeovers in mind Updating capacity plans and production reports Ensuring raw materials and packaging are available for planned production Maintaining BOMs and material requirements Monitoring Customer Service Levels (CSL) and stock availability Producing daily reports and schedules to support effective production Your essential ingredients Ideally, you will have previous experience within production planning, supply chain or manufacturing, with a good understanding of ERP/MRP systems and the ability to work with data to make informed planning decisions.
Experience with in FMCG or food manufacturing would be particularly beneficial, given the importance of allergen management, stock availability and production optimisation within the role.
