Driven by ongoing success and expansion, we are seeking experienced Manufacturing and Senior Manufacturing Engineers to join our team in Portadown. In this role, you will use the latest technologies to deliver new products into production and continuously improve our existing processes. Were recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Programming).Youll bring new aerospace products into production and improve our manufacturing processes.
Youll need at least 5 years manufacturing experience and a relevant engineering HND, degree or completed apprenticeship with relevant experience. CAM software experience and knowledge of G and M codes and CNC machining are essential.
Responsibilities include:
??
Programming aerospace components offline for 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines ??
Designing fixtures and work holding devices ??
Selecting and testing cutting tools ??
Verifying NC code using Vericut ??
Creating process booklets and instructions for machine set-up and tool assembly ??
Working with Production and Quality teams to improve manufacturing methods ??
Developing manufacturing concepts and supporting project quotations ??
Updating component information in our ERP system ??
Working with tooling manufacturers and external programming subcontractors Benefits include: ?
