Showroom Manager

VANRATH is working with one of the UK's largest car dealer groups on the appointment of a Showroom Manager for their Northern Ireland operation. This is a hands on leadership role driving the standard of customer care while leading the sales team to hit volume, profit and customer feedback targets. Reporting to the New and Used Sales Manager, you will coach the team, keep the dealership compliant and make sure the sales process is followed properly from enquiry through to handover.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Lead the sales team in managing customer enquiries to the required sales standards Drive prospecting activity across the team to meet company standards Coach and develop the team on product knowledge and presentation skills, agreeing and recording action plans at the monthly one to one review Deliver the sales process using all available tools, including video, appraisals and the enquiry management system Achieve volume and profit objectives in a compliant manner Deliver finance and insurance objectives in line with company standards Make sure the dealership meets all compliance standards set by the regulator and the internal audit department Achieve customer experience objectives and work in line with company policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate Excellent oral communication skills

Experience with in a consumer focused environment

Experience of leading a team within the motor trade would be a distinct advantage Knowledge and use of FCA compliant systems desirable Understanding of how to use data to improve sales performance desirable Numerate and comfortable picking up IT systems Full driving licence held for a minimum of six months with fewer than nine penalty points Evidence of right to work in Northern Ireland Honesty, integrity and strong workplace ethics
