Employment TypePermanent contract.
Working HoursFull time – 39.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks). Rotating shift pattern: week 1: 07:00‑15:30, week 2: 08:30‑17:00. One Saturday in three (with a weekday day off).
Benefits- Salary: £40,906 per annum (potential to earn up to £50k including overtime).

Key responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
- Use personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light and heavy goods vehicles.
- Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern, fully equipped workshops.
- Qualified mechanic: fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent). Possess own toolkit for standard repairs.
- Varied vehicle experience:
Proven vehicle technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, e.g. LCV/HGV. - Valid UK driving licence: full manual UK driving licence.
- High working standards: take pride in work and ensure job is done effectively.
- Flexible to service demands: able to work on a flexible shift rota and support team where necessary.
