3.5T Driver

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and physically fit 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while providing excellent customer service. This role involves regular manual handling, including loading, unloading, and moving heavy items, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle in accordance with road traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled safely and securely. Deliver goods to customers accurately and on schedule. Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift and report any defects. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes. Obtain proof of delivery and complete all required paperwork or electronic records.

Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle. Provide a professional and courteous service to customers. Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling techniques. Assist in warehouse duties when required. Essential Requirements Full UK driving licence (maximum [insert number] penalty points). Experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle. Good knowledge of local and regional road networks. Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and carrying heavy items throughout the working day.
