JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners for a large distribution site based in North Ferriby, HU14. Main Duties:
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming warehouse floors. Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, canteens, kitchens, and welfare facilities. Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and locker rooms. Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures. Cleaning touch points, handrails, doors, and high-traffic areas. Operating cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers and buffers (training provided where required). Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and stock shortages.

Following health and safety procedures at all times. Working around warehouse operations while maintaining a safe environment.

Skills & Experience:

Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not essential. Good attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual. Basic understanding of health and safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies. Ability to work day, night, or rotating shifts as required. Typical Responsibilities:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Amazon site. Ensure cleaning tasks are completed according to schedules and checklists. Support site audits and inspections. Use cleaning chemicals safely and in line with COSHH regulations. We have the following shifts available: 7am-7pm 4 on 4 off Days - £13.30 per hour 7pm-7am 4 on 4 off Nights - £13.90 per hour Ongoing work potentially leading to permanent for the right candidates JDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
